In 2013 we launched CityMag, an urban lifestyle media brand. The idea was to build a media brand where advertisers could talk to their desired audience through CityMag’s voice and style. Through CityMag and our other publications and media services, such as The Lead, Masthead Studio is constantly testing ideas and collecting feedback from our audience as a way to inform and inspire our work for clients. This also means that we understand the threshold for risk versus reward better than any other agency as we operate a fully-fledged consumer-facing business ourselves.
